What is GrassMonkey?
Promotional Vehicle
Our ratty, beat up and very old 63 Chevy C10 was purposely purchased as a promotional vehicle but also as a work horse. Simply because it stands out in comparison to the majority of other cars on the roads, you either love it or hate it, but it catches the public eye regardless.
Patina Paintjob
Believe it or not, it takes a lot of effort and time to get the truck looking the way it does. The majority of the truck is natural patina, a few bits have been artificially aged to match, giving it that ultimate multi-coloured and patchy ratty look. The whole interior has been upholstered with Rosemary Artificial Grass including the truckbed.
Classic Car Shows
Over the last couple of years the GrassMonkey has been attending numerous Classic Car, Hot Rod and American Car Shows, where it really is at home with all the other Rat Trucks. Normally located on the 'Peterborough Pushrods & Pistons' club stand.
Specifications
Powered by a 5 litre small block Cevrolet V8 Engine, with a 700R4 transmission the GrassMonkey glides along very smoothly. Equipped with full Air-Ride suspension and a heavily modified chassis in order to drop GrassMonkey right onto the floor.
